Cristiano Ronaldo has given Manchester United fans an excuse to get excited this summer after changing his Instagram profile photo amid rumours of the 32-year-old wanting to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster of a month for Real Madrid's star player. After winning the Champions League as well as La Liga with his current side, the Portuguese legend has now been hit with an iron fist from Spain's tax office - claiming that the number seven has committed tax fraud whilst playing in Spain.
All of this has now ended with the superstar supposedly claiming to want to leave the Spanish capital - something that his dearly beloved Manchester United would most likely be interested in.
Now the plot thickens. In this day and age, you can tell a lot about a player through their social media activity. Players following certain players from other clubs on Twitter or Instagram ahead of a move; or in Virgil van Dijk's case, removing anything to do with their identity to their current club in order to make people aware of their situation.
